MusicBrainz Picard Overview
MusicBrainz Picard is an open source music tagger for Windows, macOS, and Linux from the MusicBrainz project. This page now links to Picard 2.13.3 packages from the official MusicBrainz download host, including Windows, macOS, and source packages. Picard uses the MusicBrainz database and AcoustID fingerprints to identify albums and tracks, repair metadata, rename files, organize folders, and embed cover art. It is useful for cleaning large local music libraries and standardizing tags before archiving or syncing. The direct packages can be saved to removable media or an internal software share so the same Picard release can be installed or prepared without returning to the download page. To install offline: download the package for your platform, copy it to the target machine, and run the installer or build from the source archive as appropriate. The MusicBrainz Picard offline installer packages the full setup for Windows/macOS/Linux as a standalone installer, so the complete audio toolset is ready after one install with no further internet activity required.
