PSPad Overview
PSPad is a Freeware text and code editor for Windows developed by Jan Fiala. This page now links to the official PSPad 5.5.1 setup executable from SourceForge, so the installer can be downloaded once and reused on Windows PCs without opening the download page again. PSPad is useful for editing source code, scripts, HTML, CSS, configuration files, and plain text documents. It includes syntax highlighting, project support, FTP editing, macro tools, search and replace, code templates, and integrated utilities for common developer tasks. The direct setup file is practical for classrooms, repair USB drives, and developer machines where a small Windows editor is needed quickly. To install offline: download the PSPad setup EXE, copy it to the target machine, and run the installer from local storage. The PSPad offline installer is the standalone setup distribution for Windows, with the full setup file suitable for offline deployment on developer workstations and CI/build machines that cannot reach the vendor's update servers during install.
