LMMS Overview
LMMS is a Free (GPL) audio application for Windows and macOS and Linux from LMMS Developers. The LMMS offline installer packages the complete audio engine, all built-in effects and plugins, and the full interface into a single standalone setup file — installation runs entirely without an internet connection. The LMMS standalone installer fits those environments without any special configuration: save the full setup to a USB drive, run it on any compatible machine, and the complete application is ready immediately. LMMS handles the core audio tasks its category demands — recording, editing, mixing, or playback — with support for standard audio formats including WAV, MP3, FLAC, and AAC. System requirements are typical for Windows and macOS and Linux: a modern 64-bit processor, at least 4 GB of RAM, and sufficient disk space for the installation.
